At Bibury Day Nursery in Poole, we understand the importance of good nutrition for young children. Our children’s meals are planned and freshly prepared on the premises with an emphasis on providing healthy, delicious meals your child will love. We also cater for special dietary requirements.

Why Good Nutrition Is a Must for Toddlers and Pre-Schoolers

At this important stage of their development, toddlers and pre-schoolers will be growing rapidly. They are also very active, burning off a great deal of energy while they play, learn and even sleep! It’s essential, therefore, that their diets are sufficient to meet their energy requirements, in order to support healthy growth and development.

At Bibury Day Nursery, we have a great deal of experience in all-round childcare. Our emphasis is on taking care of all of the needs of our charges and this includes their diet. We therefore have our own on-site chef who prepares meals on the premises for our children. These are made only from fresh, quality ingredients. Fresh fruit and vegetables are used both in meals and for providing healthy snacks throughout the day. All meals are included in the fees paid for your child’s attendance.

Special Dietary Arrangements Available

A vegetarian alternative is provided at every mealtime if you prefer this for your child. Care is taken to ensure that this option contains the required proteins, vitamins and minerals essential for their health and wellbeing.

We are also pleased to take into account any other special dietary requirements your child might have when providing our children’s meals – please speak to us in advance to discuss these.
